Nourish: a winter care workshop

Are you looking for balance during these cold winter months? You will be guided through a winter self-care workshop where you will learn how to nourish your body and soul through Ayurveda, yoga and self-care. These practices will help you to stay in balance for the duration of winter and with each change of season.
Ayurveda is the science of yoga and how you take care of yourself from the outside in and inside out. We will discuss the topic of Ayurveda along with what to eat for your body type and what nourishing foods and spices you can incorporate into your cooking this winter.
Learn how to practice for the season we're in as well as transitioning from one season to the next. We will practice a series of yoga postures and discuss how they effect the energies in the body and your nervous system.
Discuss a handful of self-care practices to incorporate into your daily routine in the morning and/or evening. Some practices will be related to Ayurveda such as oil massage and tongue scraping.
